ProNordic was the only non-soy MK-7 on the market, but now two other products are available. We are pleased to show you how these stack up against our pure menaquinone.
We don’t have the means to test for soy content but one product is from chickpea. Yes, it should be non soy. The other states they are soy free and can prove it by DNA testing. Okay, so they may both be soy free, but both are extracted from a fermented source and we have tested them for purity. A few graphs say a thousand words.
The chickpea product: The chromatogram for Chickpea sourced vitamin K2 does not show the clean analysis results we get with the ProNordic product.
The soy derived product which claims it is negative for soy DNA. There is more than trans MK-7 in this product.
ProNordic’s vitamin K2:
This is the only all-trans K2, which means it is all bio-active. Pure MK-7 is the only component of ProNordic’s product, (please go to our K2 science page to learn about the difference between cis and trans formations).
The important question which differentiates these three products is how much active menaquinone-7 does it contain? In comparing the above charts it is clear, 50mcg of other products do not equal 50mcg of ProNordic’s product.
Here is just a little reminder why such efforts are being made to create non-soy vitamin K2:
- Soy may be GMO
- Some are allergic to soy
Conclusion: Your vitamin K2 should be non-soy and all-trans…We have made this product available for you.
